  • Online Elder Abuse Training for Legal Service Providers - Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault
    This module addresses the definitions of domestic violence and sexual assault in later life, the "red flags" of sexual assault and domestic violence, including risk factors, power and control dynamics, and indicators, establishing trust when communicating with possible victims of abuse and their families, effective ways to respond to cases of domestic violence and sexual assault, such as restraining orders and safety planning, and key considerations when recommending options to your clients.

  • Victim Assistance Training Online - Incarcerated Victims of Sexual Violence
    This module defines sexual violence within correctional facilities, describes the unique aspects of sexual violence in correctional facilities, describes the risk factors for sexual violence in correctional facilities, identifies challenges or obstacles to providing victim services to incarcerated victims of sexual violence, and identifies and describes some of the practical response strategies that can be implemented to address the needs of incarcerated victims of sexual violence.

  • Victim Assistance Training Online - Sexual Assault
    This module includes information related to sexual assault and sexual violence. It includes definitions of the terms sexual violence and sexual assault; information about the victim service provider's role in relation to others working as part of a Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), including differentiating the roles of victim service providers, SART, and other members of the SART; methods to assess the physical and psychological impact of sexual assault; information about the potential impact of sexual assault on various populations; and strategies to respond appropriately to victims of sexual assault.

  • Victim Assistance Training Online - Victims of Campus Sexual Assault
    This module provides a definition of campus sexual assault, describes barriers victims of campus sexual assault face when seeking help, describes the basic requirements of Title IX, the Clery Act, and the Violence Against Women Act Amendments, and identifies strategies for serving victims of campus sexual assault.

  • Victim Assistance Training Online - Victims of Sexual Assault in the Military
    This module provides information on issues specific to the military related to sexual assault. It includes issues that victims may face, specific military procedures to help victims impacted by this crime, as well as tips and strategies to help victims.
