Integrating Crime Victims' Issues Into College and University Curricula
Summary:
This curricula is a series of multidisciplinary educational models designed to broaden college and university students' exposure to and awareness of criminal victimization and its impact on victims and teach them about helpful responses when encountering victims.
What's Included:
- Curriculum kits and teaching materials, including class exercises and sample assignments
- A faculty involvement guide with steps to create a supportive learning environment and respond to student experiences with victimization

Sexual Assault Advocate and Service Provider Training Curriculum
Summary:
This training teaches advocates about sexual assault advocacy, the realities and impact of sexual assault, procedures to follow in common situations, techniques to support recovery, and strategies for organizational wellness and self-care, with modules on drug-facilitated sexual assault, campus sexual assault, military sexual assault, sexual assault on cisgender men and LGBTQ+ individuals, and neurobiology and trauma.

Victim Impact: Listen and Learn Curriculum
Summary:
This training consists of 13 units, built around 10 core crime topics: property crime, assault, robbery, hate and bias, gang violence, sexual assault, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, drunk and impaired driving, and homicide.

Online Training
Develop the skills to guide and shape lively and topical discussions during a training or event.
Facilitation Skills Online Training
Length: 34 minutes
This training includes seven narrated modules that address:
- Differences between facilitating and presenting,
- Facilitator responsibilities,
- How to facilitate a successful training,
- How to build consensus and resolve conflicts, and
- How to facilitate, debrief, and summarize training activities.

Instructional Design Standards
Summary:
The OVC Instructional Design Standards establish the processes that OVC grantees must follow in the development of OVC-funded trainings.
The Instructional Design Standards are based on the ADDIE approach to help ensure that:
- The trainings are based on the needs of the participants,
- Participants achieve the goals of the training,
- The trainings are delivered in a consistent manner each time they are offered, and
- The effectiveness of the trainings can be evaluated using specific, measurable outcomes.
